Virginia Beach Couples Photo Safari – Danielle and Jesse

April 12, 2010 Leave a comment

Our 2-3 hour “Photo Safari” is our most popular portrait session and includes up to 2 location’s in Hampton Roads and multiple outfit changes.  Your able to really get a diverse selection of images and it really is customized as much as your imagination allows.

Danielle and Jesse wanted some pictures taken in Portsmouth City Park and at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.   They spend a lot of time at the park and Jesse will soon be deploying back to Iraq and they wanted some photographs of them together in a place that has special meaning for them.  We love it when a married couple that have been together awhile want something special for each other.  It warms our heart.  Hope you enjoy some photo awesomeness of Danielle and Jesse.

Sierra and Nick + 3 | Virginia Beach Family Portraits

December 22, 2009 3 comments

I met Sierra, Nick and their three pup’s at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront for a chilly portrait session.  Sierra just returned from a 7 month Med deployment and Nick drove up from North Carolina.  He  got out of the Marine Corp that day for our winter beach session.

I can tell ya, it was cold and windy.  Just on the borderline of insane but we managed to get some good shot’s in anyway.  They are a fun couple in love with  a real passion between them.  What a great way to end the year.  Thanks Sierra and Nick for spending a chilly day with me.

Shooting this late in the season is really about timing and hoping for good weather.  Here is a sneak peak for Shannon and Josh a young married couple that wanted some fun and romantic images.  They have a couple of energetic family pet’s Hunter and Scotty that they wanted in some of the pictures too.  It was a challenge to capture the pup’s but we were able to get some really good ones.  We are going to be doing alot more family sessions with their pet’s since these are just a lot of fun.

The last colors of Fall are just fantastic this year and really make the images pop.  Had a blast spending the afternoon with you both,  hope you guy’s enjoy your images.

Beecher & Coleman Wedding – Portsmouth, Virginia

Michele and I photographed a beautiful wedding last month in Portsmouth for Megan and Ryan.  The reception was held at the Naval Base Officer’s Club in Norfolk.   I love weddings like these.  You could just feel a spark with these two and the families were wonderful.  Everyone had a great time and enjoyed themselves.  Michele and I hope you both have a blessed and wonderful marriage.

Military Weddings – Fort Monroe Virginia

June 28, 2008 5 comments

Michele and I photographed a formal military style wedding a few weeks ago at Fort Monroe Virginia for Amy and Jay.  As with all weddings we feel it is our honor and blessing to be a part of it.  You could really feel that this was a special day for them, their families and friends who attended.  The wedding was held inside “The Chapel of the Centurian” and though it was a beautiful setting they allow no pictures during the actual ceremony.  Kinda tricky to take wedding pictures when you can’t shoot so we were allowed to re-create the ceremony.

We wish Amy and Jay an abundant and blessed marriage.  You guy’s are awesome and thanks for allowing us to share your special day. It was a lot of fun.

Hampton Virginia Bridal Session

Wow.. I went to Fort Monroe this past Sunday to shoot Amy C.’s bridal session.  This base is rich with local history going back to 1834, named after President Monroe.  Amy had a wonderful roman styled dress that was just awesome.  We met Friday so I could scout out the area, really an interesting place to have a bridal session.  These are the best of the session that I liked.

Her wedding is scheduled soon and is a full military wedding with all the details which is gonna make for some beautiful images.  Michele and I are really excited to be a part of it and can’t wait to photograph her and her fiancee’s special day.
