Charity

Both Michele and I believe that giving to our community and sharing with those in need is both a responsibility and a wonderful opportunity. We actively seek to donate our services and products to whoever we can, whenever we can.

If you represent a charitable or community organization and have a project we can help with, let us know! In the past, we’ve been approached for event coverage, silent auctions, and gift certificate donations.

We also see direct giving as an important part of our charitable philosophy. So even if you’re just a parent seeing hard times, but still want quality portraits of your family, we welcome your call or email. We promise to do whatever we can to help you.

I am planning an event with The March of Dimes and Operation Shower (www.operationshower.org). On Sunday, September 20, we will be holding a baby shower for the moms with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at The Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA. These are not just any moms either, but the wives of our military men who are deployed at this time.

We would be honored if you would consider providing photography. We are expecting to shower approximately 25 moms at this time and have about 50 guests. The March of Dimes and Operation Shower will be issuing press releases regarding the event in addition to promoting it in various other ways.
As the shower is approaching quickly please let us know soon if you are interested in donating. Let us know your thoughts and how we can work with you to make this a great event for military families.
Thank you so much on behalf of Operation Shower!
    Sincerely,
    Chris Nease

I sent you an email. Sounds like a wonderful event and it’s right down the street from us too. Michele my wife was born in Portsmouth Naval Hospital too, small world huh? Keep me in mind for other similar events if you have already found a photographer for this.

      Thanks,

      Dave

    DAVID!!
Please see below and help us out if you can. Thank you so much!

We are hosting our 2nd annual Pink Shirt Benefit for Breast Cancer Research on October 17, 2009. This will be held in our establishment and in our entire parking lot. We will be holding silent auctions, raffles, games, and many other activities at our event. All net proceeds from the days events, will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation (EIN #75-2875178).

We are asking at this time for donations to be bid on at our auctions or given away with our contests. Donations can be mailed to AJ Gator’s, Attention: Pink Shirt Donations, 1485 General Booth Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23454. If you would rather, one of our representatives will pick up the donation from your store.

Please do not hesitate to call with any questions or concerns, or to schedule a pick up of a donation.

Thank you so much for your time.
