Military Weddings – Fort Monroe Virginia
Michele and I photographed a formal military style wedding a few weeks ago at Fort Monroe Virginia for Amy and Jay. As with all weddings we feel it is our honor and blessing to be a part of it. You could really feel that this was a special day for them, their families and friends who attended. The wedding was held inside “The Chapel of the Centurian” and though it was a beautiful setting they allow no pictures during the actual ceremony. Kinda tricky to take wedding pictures when you can’t shoot so we were allowed to re-create the ceremony.
We wish Amy and Jay an abundant and blessed marriage. You guy’s are awesome and thanks for allowing us to share your special day. It was a lot of fun.

The black and white pic of the men in uniform is very striking.
Wow, the expressions you captured say it all! They undoubtedly love the work you’ve done!
Weddings and uniforms….very moving portraits! Beautiful!
I love the b/w shots…I agree, weddings in uniform are very distinguished!
